We've been lightening loads since 1962 when the Skate & Track trailer system was developed by the founder Mr GB Johnstone. 1962

Business founded and skate and track system developed by Mr GB Johnstone.

1977

Design award for Skate & Track system.

1979

Joloda Transport equipment sold to York Trailers.

1980

Mr W Kordel joined York Trailers as MD and increased Skate & Track system sales.

1992

Following a management buyout York Trailers became Joloda International Ltd.

2002

Acquisition of Hydraroll, ba

2006

European market growth led to the establishment of Joloda BV.

2007

Phenomenal market growth in the USA led to the establishment of Joloda LLC.

2012

50th anniversary year, half a century of loading systems experience.

2017

BIMBO and M Dematteis appointed CEO, Mr Kordel takes on NED role.

2018

Joloda Conveyor Services establish after acquiring the service division of Sovex to become one of the largest service providers for conveyor and materials handling systems in the UK.

2019

PE deal - Business Growth Fund Investment

2020

Acquisition of Loading Automation Inc to further establish Joloda Hydraroll's position in the US market.

2021

New companywide brand identity.

2021

New head office and world-class manufacturing facility established in Liverpool, England.

2022

Acquisition of the MAP division of automotive trailer unloading/loading French company, Legras Industries.

2022

Celebrated our 60th Anniversary of Joloda Hydraroll, helping businesses with loading solutions around the world.

2023

Opening of the Joloda Hydraroll service centre in Dormans, France.

2023

Opening of our East Asia office, Joloda Japan K.K., in Kyoto.

2024

Acquired Finnish loading business, Actiw Oy, to support businesses that require unmodified trailer loading solutions.
