Automatic Reel Unloading System

Developed for NewsPrinters (News International) to transport larger and heavier paper reels up to 211mm, lying down.

System was developed from the Trailerskate system, with a non-slip polyurethane coating applied to the skates to prevent slippage of the reels.

A full payload of up to 26 tonnes of paper reels are un loaded in approx 3 and 1/2 minutes.

This system has been in operation for 4 years with practically no downtime and minimum maintenance.
